I've decided to give you some tips to servive too!!^^>>> I'm nice I know B)...
Soooooo let's begin now shall we..
1) Be wise when choosing a team.
Keep this in your mind.. you are gonna work with them for at least a year.. You will not survive a month if you were working with people that you can't get along with just because they are the best.. but yet don't go by your emotions too much.. sometimes it's hard to say no when you know your friend doesn't have what it takes for this project, but if you really want to do good in this.. do it!!!... there is no personal emotions linked with work... so just say it out loud not just in your brain.. your team might not have the best qualifications... and they might not be your close friends.. but they might turn out better than both in the project you are working on.. so remember to set down and think deeply before committing with a team.

2) Check on the personality of your supervisor first.
The outcome of all the projects out there depends heavily on the supervisor's personality... there are many types of them but the one you need is the one who is kind, understanding, guider, but yet gives you pressure.. Its been studied that pressure to some extend can actually be beneficial to a team... if there was no such thing, no one would ever work... but that does not mean you don't need a bit of a free feeling... in order to be fully creative.. you need the space to think.. but without boundaries they will all run away... so don't just go to the easy going supervisors just because of the freedom you will have.. and don't choose the tight and bossy just because you are afraid of thinking... take what is good from both and go with the best choice.

3) Plan your project well.
Almost all the failed projects went down because of the lack of planning.. your idea might be the best out there.. your research and preparations might be perfect.. but when it comes to implementation.. lack of planning an organizing the work may make you hit the rock.. I do agree that improvisation is great to some extant but it is not in the case of a group work.. in order to get the very best results you need to set down with your team members.. make a very deep mind storming session... come up with a great plan that covers all the possible risks.. make sure to divide the work equally between the members... and see how smoothly your project will end..

4) Organize a team trip for fun.
This might sound weird for some of you but making your team have fun with each other from time to time actually improves the working rate of your team... making them deal with each other outside the working bounds makes the team more comfortable to work with each other.. distresses them and makes them feel refreshed... and increase their ability to deal with problems... workshops and puzzle games increase their creativity and make them produce more in mind mapping sessions... so if you have a work to be done perfectly.. do be a strict worker..try to be loosen up a bit and convert your work place to play station from time to time...
